Geopoetics (2024)

the ‘geopoetics’ exhibition revolves around the subject of data transference between real-world events and empty spaces within works of art, as the physicality of landscapes are dissected for their significance in the form of metaphors in contemporary art. the universe and the human body have been meaningfully simulated in the form of scenery, with the artists featured in this exhibition acting as representatives that allow us to investigate the definition of landscape art from cultures and ancient knowledge, when humans used the characteristics of the landscape to explain various phenomena, beliefs, knowledge, politics, all the way to science, despite the fact that the art world still views these things through a specific ‘space’ in which various things are placed according to the language of mundane scenery.
